Pastor Pedersen is a world renowned minister of the Gospel. He has traveled internationally into over 45 countries and ministered to hundreds of thousands of people through his many years of ministry. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to Norwegian parents. He was saved as a young boy at Salem Gospel Tabernacle and called into the ministry. He attended North Central Bible School in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He has ministered along with his wife of 48 years Solveig Dahl Pedersen. Together they founded and pastored Homewood Full Gospel Church for over 25 years.
They began with a small Bible study group in a home in the suburb of Homewood, Illinois. They moved with a small congregation called Beulah Temple from Chicago to build a church family in Homewood, Illinois. The group continued to grow together over the years to reach over 3000 people in the church with Pastor Pedersen as Senior Pastor.
Under the direction of Pastor and Sue Pedersen the church became well known for its tremendous music groups, respected drama ministry, cutting edge childrens ministries, internship programs, and consistant balanced bible teaching and ministry. People were saved at the church nearly every week and thousands of lives were touched and dramatically changed over the years.

Pastor Pedersen and Homewood Full Gospel Church were highlighted and written about in Charisma magazine under his ministry. In 1992, Pastor expanded even further into the role of Global Outreach Pastor of Homewood Full Gospel Church to further minister to and reach even more people nationally and internationally. He is in demand as speaker and teacher around the world. He has mentored hundreds of pastors and ministers throughout the years and continues to be productive in this area. His heart`s desire is to fulfill the great commission and to see souls come to know Jesus as their Savior. He lives an exciting committed life for this purpose. He is the father of three children and eight grand-children. He seems to always see the positive in a situation and is quick to tell you Jesus loves you. |
